Audio: Explanation of Aqeedah at-Tahaawiyyah (Lesson 25)

Lesson 25 on the explanation of Aqeedah at-Tahaawiyyah is available. Please listen to it here or download it:
Lesson 25.mp3

This lesson was a discussion and explanation of the following ambigious statement of At-Tahawi:

“He is not contained by the six directions, contrary to all of the living things.”

This statement has been used by today’s Jahmites (who pose as Ash’aris) such as Hamza Yusuf, Muhammad Ibn Adam Al-Kawthari and Zaid Shakir to try and support their false, deviated and misguided beliefs and doctrines such as denying that Allaah is above the throne and negating the attributes of Allaah.

We highly recommend you read the following excellent article for more detailed information:
Concerning the Saying of Imaam at-Tahawi (d. 321H): ‘The Six Directions Do Not Contain Him’ And a Decisive Confutation of the Jahmites
