Audio: Explanation of Aqeedah at-Tahaawiyyah (Lesson 26)

Lesson 26 on the explanation of Aqeedah at-Tahaawiyyah is available. Please listen to it here or download it:
Lesson 26.mp3

This lesson was related to the belief in Al-Israa wal-Mi’raaj (Night Journey and Ascent through Heavens). At-Tahawi affirms the creed of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah that the israa and mi’raaj are true and real, occurring whilst the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) was awake with both the body and soul making the journey.

  2. AsSalam alaikum wa rahmatullaah

I think it is lesson no 26 ( not 25 as mentioned )
    kindly check

    Lesson 25 is about:
“He is not contained by the six directions, contrary to all of the living things.”

This statement has been used by today’s Jahmites (who pose as Ash’aris) such as Hamza Yusuf to try and justify their deviated and misguided belief of denying and negating the attributes of Allaah.

We highly recommend you read the following excellent article for more detailed information: Concerning the Saying of Imaam at-Tahawi (d. 321H): ‘The Six Directions Do Not Contain Him’ And a Decisive Confutation of the Jahmites

    Barakallaah feekum
    wa salam alaikum
