Serious Prohibition of Tale-Carrying

It is reported from Hudhaifa that news reached him (the Holy Prophet) that a certain man carried tales. Upon this Hudhaifa remarked: I heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) saying:

The tale−bearer shall not enter Paradise.

2) someone who gossips in an indiscreet manner. [COLLINS DICTIONARY]

3) one that spreads gossip or rumours. [MERRIAM-WEBSTER]

4) One who spreads malicious stories or gossip. [THE FREE DICTIONARY]
